This was our 2nd stay at the Waterfront Apartments, and if we returned a 1000 times it would not be enough for us!. The location is just perfect, right on the beautiful crystal clear water and just short stroll, approximately 5 minutess to the stunning harbour that is Fiscardo. The view from both attic apartments (we have stayed in both) is truly spectacular. We love the traditional and homely feel of the apartments, they are really quaint and cosy,whilst spotlessly clean, with lovely crisp white bed linen and towels . As others have said Stavroula & Alexis are the perfect hosts- they cannot do enough for you, always greeting you with such warmth and a lovely smile. Very much looking to returning again in 2018.

We read all of the reviews before our visit. We could not imagine that our hosts and the location could be as good as described. However they were. I think you have to experience the warmth and generosity of this welcoming family to fully appreciate how it feels to be a guest here. We can only echo what others have said. Fiscardo itself is a beautiful place. Well worth the drive from the airport. We found all the facilities and the restaurants to be of a high quality. The beaches and some of the smaller coves accessed by your own boat were amazing. The sea was calm, warm and clear. We did experience some severe weather but we were very well looked after. In September the sun left the terrace around 3.30 which meant moving to the rocky beach which was in swimming distance. It may not be a problem but for sun lovers something to bear in mind. Make sure you bring swim shoes. There is not enough room to say how brilliant staying at the waterfront was.

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic holiday at the Odysseas / Waterfront Apartments in the beautiful small port of Fiskardo in Northern Kefalonia. We have visited a number of Greek Islands over the years, and this is by far the most beautiful island and the best holiday location and accommodation we have ever experienced. Fiskardo is a very scenic port - and the location of the picturesque Waterfront Apartments are idyllic, being on the outskirts of the bustling harbour, but close enough for a stroll into town whether to visit the bakery or to sit and have a drink or a meal at any of the numerous restaurants, tavernas and eateries that line the harbour front. You can spend the day just watching the comings and goings of the people and the boats and yachts that visit Fiskardo - easy to see why it's called the Saint-Tropez of Greece! The Waterfront owners Stavroula and Alexis are wonderful - they greeted us and showed us around on arrival - taking our bags and showing us to our apartment which was even stocked with food and drink including: - bread, yoghurt, wine, beers, juice, milk, fruit, crisps, tea, coffee, snacks etc - very much appreciated after a day's travelling. We stayed in Attic no 2 which is the smaller of the two attic apartments. This 2 bedroom apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with lovely views from the kitchen sink and a small balcony accessed from both bedrooms. There is a daily maid service included and we had a bedding change & 2 towel changes during our 10 day stay - which makes it far more than a self catering Apartment holiday. The kitchen is well kitted out with a fridge/ freezer & mini cooker with 2 x hot plates & mini oven. There is everything in the way of kitchen equipment you could possibly need (including toaster, coffee machine, tea pot, cafetière) . From the Waterfront Apartments terrace you can choose to sunbath on loungers, or sit in the shade of an umbrella and watch the boats. You can swim directly from here in the warm, crystal clear sea - and there is even a small pebble beach a short swim away. We would strongly recommended taking sea/water shoes - makes walking on stony beaches / rocky sea beds much easier! As a family we all took snorkel masks (easy breath) too and swam every day - enjoying the array of beautiful fish and marine life. We had such an amazing holiday thank you again Stavroula and Alexis - your kindness made it an extra special stay x!

We had a wonderful time in the beautifully inviting, clean loft apartment in Fiscardo. Stavroula and Alex and warm, kind hosts who can't do enough for you. You can jump into the sea straight from the terrace and we found it a wonderfully relaxing stay. These are wonderful apartments. They are spotlessly clean and well equipped but also characterful and welcoming. We enjoyed eating our meals on the balcony with a view of the harbour and old lighthouse and even washing up was a pleasure with that view. The shower is in a proper cubicle so no soaked bathroom floor or clinging shower curtain and the hot water is on demand so no worry that everyone else will get the hot water and leave you with a cold shower. The bedrooms have very quiet and effective air conditioning, a welcome relief after the heat of the day. It was lovely swimming from and relaxing on the communal terrace and everyone was really friendly. Stavroula and Alexis could not do enough for us from the moment we booked to the moment we left. They were friendly caring and attentive. We had a fantastic welcome pack (particularly welcome as we arrived in a storm) and Stavroula also left us homemade treats and fresh flowers. We loved our stay here.

Wow, accommodation does not get much better than this. Ideally located, well cared for, well equipped. The best thing about our stay was Stavroula and Alexis. Their warmth and hospitality is second to none.

We have returned from a wonderful holiday in Fiscardo where we stayed in the waterfront apartments. I honestly couldn't recommend staying here more. The location is simply stunning, right on the seafront with stunning views from the windows and balcony. Also, impressively the apartment offers your own private terrace right on the seafront and access to a shared sunbed area. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable with a fully equipt kitchen, great shower and air con. The apartment was also cleaned daily with fresh towels replaced half-way through the stay - a rare treat for apartment rentals. The whole stay was especially special due to the accommodating hosts Stravroula and Alexis. From the moment we arrived they were fantastic - completely on hand if we required anything without being invasive to our privacy. They have true generous spirit and we can't thank them enough for their kindness. We really couldn't recommend this apartment more and will certainly be back! Isabelle and Felicity

Agree with all the positives. Stavroula and and Alexis were excellent hosts and very welcoming and friendly. The location couldn't be more perfect with wonderful views - made even washing up enjoyable (not that it was needed as it was done each day for you..). Small note if you have the apartment 2 in the attic then the living space is quite small (bedrooms still big and a great view from the balcony to Ithaca). If that is important then try for apartment 1. Wasn't a biggie for us though.

We have just returned from our two week holiday in Fiscardo staying at The Waterfront Apartments and we will definitely return. Stavroula, Alexis and their three children could not have made us feel more welcome. Their hospitality is second to none. The two bedroom apartment in the attic was perfect for our family of 5 (our youngest being happy to sleep on a camp bed). It is well equipped, fully air conditioned with windows that can be opened on both sides to give wonderful views of the nearby beach and sea. They also provide a cooling breeze throughout the day. There is a little balcony with a table for two people to enjoy a glass of wine in evening plus a private terrace overlooking the sea! To my surprise the apartment was tidied and beds made every day with a thorough clean and sheets changed weekly. No swimming pool required when you have sun loungers and the sea on your doorstep! All in all the apartment provided us with a good base to enable us to explore this stunning part of the island! There is so much to do from hiring a boat and exploring the hidden coves to jumping off the rocks around Foki beach caves and finishing in the Foki beach taverna for a plate of calamari and a very cold beer! Fiscardo and the villages around provide more than enough choices for eating out! We will definitely return!

We have just come back from a week at the apartment which was absolutely gorgeous. The apartment was cosy, spotlessly clean and with a gorgeous view from the balcony. It is very well equipped and we cooked and ate in twice, just about possible to get 3 of us round the table on the balcony! The owners are extremely friendly and kind and very hospitable and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this apartment. We had a fabulous week there and hope to return one day.

We have just come back from a wonderfully relaxing holiday in gorgeous Fiscardo. We stayed in apartment no 1 which was very comfortable and very clean, it was perfect for us and our two teenage children. The location couldn't be better, ten minute stroll to all the restaurants and bars and great being on the waters edge for taking a dip and watching all the beautiful yachts going in and out of the harbour. We hired a car for a few days and would recommend Myrtos, Jerusalem, Focki and Emblissi beaches. The tavernas at Focki and Jerusalem are excellent. We also visited Assos which was charming. Our favourite restaurants in Fiscardo were Ellie's and the The Lord Falcon Thai restaurant. Would also recommend hiring a small boat to explore all the little coves and beaches. Stavroula and Alexis were perfect hosts who made us feel very welcome and were always on hand to help out in any way. Will definitely be returning!

Our 2nd stay in just 9 months at the Waterside Apartments was absolutely fantastic. Our hosts, Stavroula and Alexande made us feel very special at all times. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and is perfectly situated in Fiskardo. Our 11 night stay was not long enough. We can't wait to return in 2016!

We are a couple who have enjoyed visiting the Greek Islands for 30+ years, this is the fourth time we have been to Kefalonia and the first time to these apartments and we can honestly say they are the most perfect we have ever experienced. Check the other reviews and you will see everyone agrees the apartment is perfectly positioned very well equipped, immaculately cleaned and serviced with the icing on the cake, the owners Stavroula and Alexis could not be more friendly and helpful. We loved the friendly welcome with starter provisions and stocked fridge. The main picture speaks for itself...beautifully positioned at the harbour entrance with the best swimming pool ever! We love exploring and hired a car for the whole of our two week stay. We enjoyed visiting Assos, Myrtos Beach (amazing turquoise sea) Anti Samos (a bit more busy and commercialised but still a beautiful beach) plus all the local beaches around Fiscardo. Further afield, we also visited several really wild beaches with hardly any people. Some of the roads are quite mountainous and a bit 'hairy' but I would say enjoyable with fabulous views and hardly any other traffic. We can honestly say there is no downside to this apartment, we thoroughly recommended it and will definitely be returning next year, we really loved it all. PS If you like country walks Fiscardo has had a walking trail makeover, there are numerous different very clearly marked nature trails all around Fiscardo. No. 2 'Cyprus' walk, 4.7 km is great.!

Fabulous Fiskardo! A week was just not enough! The air-conditioned apartments were ideal, they were spotless and fitted with everything you could need. The small balcony, accessed from each bedroom, was lovely for watching the sun rise over Ithaca and the boats coming to and from the little harbour. To be able to pop downstairs after breakfast and swim from the terrace into the sea, then lounge on sunbeds was gorgeous. There are also pretty pebbly beaches within a short drive where you can swim or snorkle in the clear, turquoise, warm sea. Stavroula and Alexis were so kind and helpful, their hospitality was second to none. All around the harbour, there are restaurants run by friendly staff who serve delicious food. We can't wait to go again!

We had been to Fiskardo several times before when my daughters were younger but hadn't been back for over 10 years. Not sure what to expect, we were delighted by the accommodation, its location and the town, which hasn't changed that much. Stavroula made us all so welcome and she provided much needed provisions for tired, hungry travellers. The location, with its own private sea frontage and loungers, was just perfect. No need to mess around with towels on the beach - just a hop and a skip into the beautiful, crystal clear sea. We stayed in one of the top two apartments and I would thoroughly recommend them to any family of four - or even a couple wanting some extra space - as they were clean, welcoming and well equipped. We will be back, perhaps for a week when the weather is less hot and we can do some walking and exploring.

This is the second time we have been to Odysseas, Fiscardo and once again we had a lovely time with exceptional hospitality. The owners are second to none and the apartment was very clean and well maintained. The fishbone bar was great value and the music was fantastic, the owners Teddy and Poppy we're also very kind and helped with anything we needed. With regards to restaurants we found Lagoudera Restaurant where Gregory and Panous were great hosts, explained everything about the food on the menu and the culture and again very helpful. Another restaurant was Apagio, this was a more modern restaurant, beautifully designed and decorated with outstanding views of the harbor, the food was absolutely outstanding and very reasonably priced. Also grecco's is a small bar again in the harbor where you can sit outside and have a drink and again listen to some great music. Overall a very relaxing holiday with great food and great people.

Plunge in blue, cristal-clear waters right downstairs! Not into a pool, but just into the Ionian sea, in a beautiful bay surrounded by the green mediterranean scrub. If you like to live in an attic, you?ll enjoy this place. We stayed three weeks in apt. n.2. , wich doesn't lack anything you may wish to ensure a very pleasant holiday; apt. n.1 anyway is even larger and more confortable. All rooms have air conditioning, so you may have a cool temperature even in the hottest summer. You?ll find excellent bed linen and towels, a good kitchen equipment, and a very useful welcome present from the owners. A good cleaning service (three times a week) is included. Right downstairs you?ll find some comfortable sunbeds and ombrellas by the water?s edge at your disposal, if you feel lazy; but if you feel like exploring the neighbourhood, a lot of wonderful beaches with turquoise water, surrounded by wild cypress? woods, are waiting for you. You can arrive at Odysseas by boat, if you rent one. The sight from the balcony is really beautiful. There are only 15 steps from street level to the flat, but the stairway is quite steep, therefore is not suitable for the elderly or for mobility-impaired persons. The owners shall help you with your luggage. Nearby you?ll find a coffee-shop with beverages, snacks and good ice creams. Restaurants and shops are at walking distance. And above all, Alexis and Stavroula will make you feel at home and will help you with their kind tips to find everything you may wish in their beautiful island.

The hosts, Stavroula and Alexis, attend to every detail to ensure a faultless holiday accommodation experience. Yes it helps the perfect location - 2 metres from the sea, nice and peaceful and only a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the main port. But it's the little things like the generous welcome pack, the homemade baked cake, the greeting and genuine display of friendliness that left a real impression on us.

If i was a selfish man I would say that staying here was terrible - this way I could ensure that there would always be a place for me and my wife to stay at the Waterfront apartments.I am not selfish so I say that staying here was absolutely brilliant. Stavroula and Alexis are superb - never intrusive but always on hand to ensure that we were enjoying our stay. My wife loved being able to simply just go into the sea from the private jetty. We both enjoyed the views from our apartment or our private balcony or the communal area. Other guests felt the same as most have already booked for next year. We are probably going to break the habit of a lifetime and return the same location the year after. Very convenient to Fiskardo with its plethora of great restaurants and cocktail bars. Never noisy though. If you want to go to other beaches there are some good ones nearby - some walkable. Recommend hiring a boat - cost about 90 euros (including fuel) for the day. We are already wishing our lives away so that next year comes round quickly. Just hope they have room here when we want it.

THE APARTMENTS ARE SITUATED IN AN IDEAL POSITION IN FISCARDO, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE SHOPS/RESTAURANTS/BEACHES, IT IS AN IDEAL BASE TO EXPLORE THE BEAUTIFUL AREA. YOU CAN SUNBATHE ON THE TERRACE AREA WHERE THE SWIMMING POOL IS THE SEA, THE VIEW FROM THE TERRACE AREA IS STUNNING! THE APARTMENTS ARE OF A GOOD SIZE/QUALITY AND VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER. IF I WAS GIVEN MONEY FOR EVERY TIME I HAVE BEEN ASKED "CAN YOU TELL ME THE NAME OF THIS PLACE WHERE YOU ARE STAYING, IT IS BEAUTIFUL" I WOULD BE A VERY RICH PERSON! IT IS AN ENCHANTING PLACE, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

My wife and I came on a weeks holiday, we we're met at the door by the owners who gave us a lovely warm welcome with a welcome pack. Upon seeing the appartment it was beautiful and absolutley spotless with a stunning view, the appartment had wifi and use of facilities such as the kitchen. The owners we're very helpful in telling us information such as where the resturaunts were and day trips we could go on, everything around the appartment was local including a bakery, supermarket, bars and resturaunts, no need for car hire as everything is in walking distance. There was a lovely place where we could sunbathe on the bay with beautiful views. Would definatley stay here again as everybody was friendly and helpful!

Our family was staying in the Waterfront apartments in August of 2013. Firstly, I?d like to describe the village ? Fiscardo is the only place on the island Kefalonia which wasn?t damaged by the earthquake of 1953, that?s why there are a lot of beautiful buildings and some of them have interesting architecture because of the ?Venetian style?. Nice streets and houses are surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. In addition to the old architecture a lot of brilliant modern yachts are coming to the port every day. From our stay in the apartments ?odysseas? we?d got only pleasant emotions! The owners are very guest-friendly and kind. They were giving us everything we needed and were ready to help us with any problem! The cleaning was made every day! About the surrounding area we could say that all restaurants and the supermarkets are very close to apartments (5-10 minutes walk), however, there wasn?t loud music or any noise which could spoil our relaxing mood. The sea is so close that you need just get up from your bed and go down the stairs?.and than you can swim! Downstairs there are comfortable chairs and tables which are private and free and in addition there is a small cozy beach just 100 meters from the apartments! The owners helped us to rent a car and gave a lot of useful information about the island. We?ve traveled around and saw many beautiful places (such as fantastic Myrtos beach with amazing color of water and sand, Melissani cave with deep and beautiful lake inside and Drogarati cave with huge amount of different stones, besides we visited the Monastery of Agios Gerassimos which is really worth to be seen!). We really recommend to stay in this apartments if you are looking for a place to have a nice holiday in Fiscardo! And we are looking forward to come back again! Lychko family

Stavroula and Alexis are wonderful hosts (friendly, kind, helpful), the apartments are clean and air conditioned, the views are to die for, the sea is clear and warm and clean. The apartments are tucked quietly around a corner, a few minutes walk to Fiskardo, with its beautiful harbour and restaurants and amenities. The apartment shares a communal quayside with about eight or nine more. The terrace has sunloungers and parasols and isn't crowded. There is a beautiful beach with some remains of Roman baths, 50m away, which you can swim to. All so lovely! We have been to three places in Fiskardo but this one is the best. Thank you Stavroula and Alexis for a fantastic holiday. We will be back!

We rented apartment number 1 a 2 bedroom top floor apartment. It was immaculate and the owner greeted us and showed us round. The fridge was stocked with water,juice,beer,wine and enough food to make a meal. This was a really pleasant surprise. The property was very well equipped and well maintained. It's right on the sea with superb views. The owner was always available and couldn't have been more helpful. It's a 5 minute stroll to the main harbour of Fiscardo which is full of fantastic restaurants. Our favourite was Ellis. Delicious food and a view of the harbour all the staff there were superb. We ate there 6 out of our 7 nights. We hired a small speed boat and explored the area. I would thoroughly recommend this area and particularly this accommodation. I would probably not recommend this property for elderly people as the stairs leading up to the apartment are quite steep but for all other relatively fit people it's perfect. We had an amazing holiday. The place is beautiful,the people so friendly and plenty to do or not. Lots of places to walk or a deck to sit and soak up the sun watching the world go by!
